There was a lot of cheap shots in that article on K.B. Some of this may or may not apply to other predictors....but even if it did apply, a fair amount of it was pretty snotty...who cares if he is registered geologist, and you probably do not have to be earth scientist (if it is true that he is not?) to do statistical anlysis of quakes.
