I put this out to two more scientists today; one in the the country and one in Europe. So we'll see if anyone out there wants to know about your bubblers. I can't believe this.

Well, not all is lost, I have found someone who is willing to help me with the Lassen volcanic debris field. That's not an easy one either. It appears there are not a lot of people who know the answer to my question... but I think I'm on the right track now. Of course, it comes from outside of California too.
