PSA's are coming

Hi Everyone,

I was having an e-chat with the public contact person for the Centennial Alliance and I learned a few things. First, regarding the Lotta's Fountain event on April 18th, they have bumped it up a notch to include some extended program events and now instead of expected a few hundred, it's going to be a few thousand and as a result of these two, the national media will be attending as well. So if you're eyes are keen and the camera goes my way, you'll be able to see me looking like I stepped into 1906.

Next I learned that a TV and radio station here in the Bay Area have made some earthquake PSA's; but I also decided to see if I could influence some others who have the ability to make this happen; but not just for the Bay Area, but for the entire state and the other west coast states as well and Nevada. The idea was well received and those who need to participate have been put on notice. I'm very excited about the potential to see this idea come to life and have been working on some scenarios we might use. I have two little bears, I call my Seismic Bears, Sammy and Suzette and hopefully when they take their spots "cute" will be a winning comment. My chief guideline is not to "tell" anyone what to do; but to create commentary which talks about earthquakes and what to do without saying "do it."

Boy, this idea has been long in waiting.

Petra
