Hi Kiddo. I’ll give it a try. Hope I don’t take to flying around on a broom. I think what I need to do though is get a new supply of onions and garlic. The stuff I’m using now is old. Sort of like me.

Took a trip down into Panoche Valley today. The place seems so out of place with everything else. Looks like there was some volcanic activity in the area at one time. The hot springs are in the same area. There has to be a nearby heat source.

I was all set to spend the night down there, but the wind and rain changed my mind. Get enough rain and the area would become a mud hole. No problem with the wind though. There isn’t a tree anywhere in the area. Not a place to go during the summer. No shade unless you crawl under some sagebrush and there isn’t very much of that around either.

The horse I ride is fast enough for me thank you. He knows where I want to go so I just let him pick the way and the pace he wants to travel at. He still doesn’t like the canyon that has the sulphur spring in it. He stops whenever I try to get him to go up into the area. He sure doesn’t like the smell of sulphur. There are 3 sulphur springs on the ranch I go to. We also found a new spring last year. Not really a new one. It has always been there. Just no water coming from it. Jerry told us there hasn’t been any water flowing from it for about 30 years now. Kind of curious as to why it would start flowing now. The water is sweet and it is very cold. Almost like ice. Have no idea as to the source. Take Care…Cowboy
