Hi Cal. I live in the heart of earthquake country. I don’t worry about the next quake because I’m prepared for it. I don’t need an earthquake prediction to make me get ready for it.

The next quake can strike without warning like a thief in the night. I have been in two major quakes and not once did I ever see a warning or an indication that one was going to occur. It is true that Jim Berkland predicted the Loma Prieta quake, but you can always get lucky once in a while. Make a prediction often enough long enough you are bound to get one correct.
