My Dearest Brian,
I do not know you, nor do you know who I am. I don't know why I'm allowing you to push my buttons. Blame it on the snow-covered ground or piles of work in front of me.
But...You seem to think that I'm some silly "newbie" author that doesn't know how to research her subject. You don't have to be a scientist to write a book about a topic you have experienced as I have. Can you understand that?
My answer to your question below is because if you were aware of my other works, you'd realize that I go the extra mile to write a book that makes a reader think. Plus, I am a fair-minded journalist. But in "The Man Who Predicts Earthquakes," the subject hits home hard and I put a little bit more heart and soul into it. (If you can't afford the book, please go to www.calorey.com and read some excerpts.)
C
Why do you keep insisting on using the number of books published as a marker of "expertise"?
