Brian, please enlighten me. What are your credentials to be a literary critic?

Regarding my ability to write a book about earthquake prediction? I write what I know. I'm a native Californian. I have experienced small and big quakes since I was a kid. I've written about people who have predicted quakes accurately-- and I've done it myself. I simply write what I know.

Also, I have penned several other books. I have a knack for decoding technicalese so the layperson can get it. BTW: Once an author writes a book they are considered an "expert" on the topic.
