Well John,

The medicine the dentist gave me makes me irritable, so I decided to keep in the "state of grace" this weekend and be nice to everyone, including you. If I didn't know I was being irritating, then I would be, but as that is not the case, then I'm working on being extra nice to everyone and staying out of the fray.

Besides, I can't argue with people and write romance and science. I can't put people out there and tell nice stories when I'm all stirred up. It's a horrible way to create a great relationship. Tonight we are all at Lassen Volcano and its really warm up there.
