Roger...you ought to contact John McRaney at SCEC if you want to offer your services...I don't have a very good feel for what they are doing and how you might fit in....but public outreach is part of what they do, and putting a little more science in evaluation is a good thing. John V.....do you have a feel for what SCEC is doing and whether Roger might be of interest to them...and perhaps how he would go about writing a small budget proposal if he need a few $ for the next deadline (next November?), should he require a new computer or salary or travel funds for annual meeting...
