Hi Judy,

He didn't bring the back pack and we got one fairly large volcanic rock with great holes in it that was a little difficult to carry, but he managed to get the car near the area and that helped a lot.

I was really in my own element today and remembered fondly my years in my early youth when I was excavating the back yard in Encinitas. I sure wish the sidewalk hadn't given way because I was making such good progress in my diggings. At the time I had no idea what I was looking for, but I just loved every minute out there.
