The Next Step

Don,

While earthquake prediction will probably not be embraced in the US for at least another hundred years; it is really needed in places which have 5.0 earthquakes that cause injuries, deaths and large scale property damage. That is my next step in my efforts and I may have to work with religious groups to get there, but better that than waiting for some to understand it only takes one person to be an early warning system until they seriously try to make an instrument that can do what people already know how to do. That seems really remote.

One day I'm going to find out how many people heard their ears ringing before the Indonesia earthquake and how many are still hearing it. If I can find them then they can save other people. Fortunately they are not so close minded and in that there is a world of hope. Give them their own tools and let them work with them. This should be one interesting project.

You may not be able to walk on water, but we haven't found out yet if you can part a sea.
