animations

OK, to get it out of the way, I looked at your web site. I would be interested in looking at the animations of seismicity, but the link did not work with either Netscape 7.2 or Explorer 6.0. Are these yours, or are you linking to somewhere else? If yours, what software? There were some questions about how to do this relatively recently on this page. It is unlikely that I will go to you page to keep track of your predictions...why would I? I don't go to anyone else's page to keep track of theirs. Also, I use the same laptop on this page as I use to log in to computers at the university I work at, and I have to be exceptionally careful about security...if I introduce some serious compromise to the system, it can take the system's adminstrator 2 weeks to clean things up (and me 2 weeks to clean up my laptop if I had to wipe the hard disk)...so it is really a bad idea for me to go to other personal web sites. It does you no good for me to go to your website, because I have no power or inclination to do anything with this...as I've said on posts over the years. I totally don't get why you got bent from my ealier posts on this thread..I was expressing an interest and offering suggestions, and said I would check you page later, when I felt like it. The last straw was when someone else sent an long email to my home email address suggesting that I should apologize to you...I honestly have no idea what for. Anyway, that email pissed me off, so when something I do for fun and occassionally interest ends up being source of aggravation, when my so-called career provides bucket loads of aggravation, then it is probably time for me to take a break from posting, and I may or may not read posts here for a while. I've been kind of addicted to this page, so I'll probably be back soon, and would post if there is a catastrophic earthquake in the world, or an interesting/significant one in areas that I work.
Hey Canie...we'll see if my aggravation is capable of triggering earthquakes in Chile...I guess I would have to keep posting and start some flame wars to cause a M8, but a M7 might be possible...Chris
