Hi Brian. The Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (KGB) now Federalnaya Sluzhba Bezopasnosti (FSB) learned from archives from the Second World War that a lie, false statement, false claim, incorrect facts when repeated loud enough, strong enough, long enough people will start to believe what is being said. I have to also state that Russia was not alone in recognizing this.

It was estimated that in order to bring about the destruction of an organization is to get 1% of the population to believe a statement made about the organization. It was also found that the more preposterous the statement is the more it is apt to be believed. That 1% will spread what has been said and what is being said not because they know it’s wrong and they want to destroy the organization, but because they believe it and because they believe it it becomes easier for others to believe it.

For the most part it doesn’t bring about the destruction of an organization, but it does affect their abilities to get things done, which when left unchecked will bring about the destruction of an organization.

This is just some of the little things I have learned as I passed through the corridors of time. Take Care…Don in creepy town
