Wow that is a cool link....even if there is no bell ring ceremony it would be a cool splurge on that particular night...after all the 06 anniversary is to date the most prolific event to happen in the Bay Area yet... Regarding Caruso, I could not find it on the web, but he did give a very colorful interview regarding his account of the 06 quake. The one on the web is from the SF Museum. But that one he is a little more layed back. I guess back in 06 San Francisco was just as colorful and eclectic as it is today. The city had bars on the waterfront full of Pirates, and every night hundreds of women would put on roller skates and go crazy riding the streets of San Francisco. Caruso was said to be quite freaked out by the hoards of women flying down market street on skates and the spector of pirates mingling w/ businessmen in dark allys and corners. He made it be known on the 17th what a crazy place he felt San Francisco was and looked forward to perfoming and getting out! Needless to say the quake only reinforced his feelings!
