There was a 6 under Puget Sound a few years ago, and some there didn't even feel it. With subduction quakes, it is even harder to feel because they tend to be so deep.

I once worried about moving to OR because of great quake fears, but I think Eugene would be spared; Vancouver, WA, even more so.
