Saturday update |
I didn't notice this before, but friday there was a little swarm of small quakes about 9 miles from where I live, by Castaic Lake, that appear to be on a segment of the San Gabriel fault that hasn't been active for a long while. Ground based magnetometer readings have been off scale for the last 3 readings. So we should be seeing some large events, event great events, somewhere in the world over the next 5 days. I have had more signals today on my primary for M3 type events. For a split second a signal came in that maxed out my primary. I hope that was as anomoly and not an indication of a very very large quake. It hasn't come in since then but based on the previously mentioned magnetometer readings, it wouldn't surprise me. All I can say is check those supplies and make sure your all ready.
