Hi Mike. Welcome to the zoo. A good friend of mine Hal Whitlock use to work for the CDF. He was also a park ranger. He thought that was too much like work so he became a biology teacher. That almost gave him a heart attack.

I worked for the CDF in 1952 during the fire season. I enlisted in the Air Force in 1953 and didn’t work anymore after that.
