Chris, I'm at 11,000 words on the prediction alone and it is going to happen under Catalina Island. This works better for me since I was there recently and can recall a lot of island details. So does the fault under the island have a name? It seems to be obscurely hidden. From what I've read it would produce a thrust quake, is that right? Just for fun, suppose there was a 7.7 quake under Catalina, that should be sufficient to trigger a regional quake of 6.3 under LA on the Elysian Park Fault???? Or could it be larger? I know, there are some unknowns. Tomorrow night, the earthquake will occur on paper. I'll make the popcorn first.
