I use acetone to get off the sticky things... but for making a saw take a smooth first cut and after, again WD40 or Pam. It's slick as can be. Also not bad for drawers that don't move along easily too. But you have to take care not to overspray the floor or you'll be making a dance maneuver you never imagined could be so creative.
