Chris,

I have an idea we are not communicating our opinions correctly or distinguishinly to the point where either one of us has expresed a point that is taken by the other in the correct context.

I was saying that I expect another earthquake in the same general region would be possible and you agreed, if I am reading this correctly.

Now, I think I can safety say this. I am an experienced observer of human nature and can easily differentiate between normal and abnormal behavior. Kerry Seih was displaying abnormal behavior when he was rushing about after printing 5,000 flyers about a potential earthquake and ensuing tsunami. I am glad that he did so, but it is unlike "normal" scientific behavior. That being where one observes, one writes and one "waits" for some measurable period of time until their findings are displayed in the medium of print. Honestly, if I did that, everyone would call me a kook or a psychic and most assuredly, an alarmist. But I shall forever ask, was he all of those, some of those, or none of those? I suspect he was #2 and #3. All with good reason. Bravo!

Perhaps he was like Noah, who heard a voice which told him it was time. He acted as did Noah when he built the ark. While he was chastised by his community for his foolishness, in the end, two by two they were off on the journey of a lifetime and alive to talk about. Noah would have done well living in Seattle. 40 days and 40 nights of rain is not all that uncommon.
