Hello Shan,

Nobody really knows for sure, but the Sumatra area could experience a super swarm of large quakes. Between 1952 and 1965, there were 5 very large quakes from Alaska to the Kuril Islands. There are some other examples of these large quakes clustering. I have looked at the lists but will not share them here. I just use the USGS search site and put in 8.7 to 10.0 global. Interesting.
