Volcanos and drought, |
My first post so please be kind while I work through the system. Scientists have identified a major climate crisis that struck Africa about 70,000 years ago and which may have changed the course of human history. Please note this came after the massive volcano eruption around 74,000 years ago. If we could only get the the volcano, climate, earthquake, and geology guys talking together. It would appear large volcano eruption would influence climate and not one mention of the idea in the article. Also see the BBC Nature/Science section on article on how the Atacama Desert may be an influence on earthquakes in SA and building of the Andes. Personal note: Greeting to Don in Holister from Jane in Kansas.
