We are toward the southern end of the Santa Clarita Valley, in Valencia and we have had the worst outbreaks of ants for the past 3 weeks - thousands of them! We have not seent the compresion that many in the northen end of the valley are seeing, such as Saugus and Castaic - at least not yet! Yesterday, we had a swarm of well over a thousand bees in a tree near Old Orchard Park. It was so big that it cast a big black shadow.Police and fire spent the better part of the afternoon resolving that and relocating them.This morning the animals in the neighborhood have been going crazy since they woke me up at 6:15. Just waiting....Beth
