I thought the highlight of the contest would be to have a piece of Parkfield. Though its a remote place, real estate there is not cheap. I have thoughts that some of the locals may think eventually the scientists will buy it all up and they could make millions instead of thousands. The population is now down to 18 and in the end it could become a ghost town and if that's the case, I'd love to have a piece of it. I could just see me in Aussie wear giving geo-tours an telling ghost stories. That would be so much fun. They don't have very many earthquakes right now, but in a year or so things will pick up and it will be a great place to catch the drift.
