Scientist Question - Catalog Error?

Here's the catalog listings for the October 1969 Rodgers Creek Fault Earthquakes. You'll notice the two 5.0 quakes are fairly shallow, but what's the story with the one that is 22.58 kms deep? Is that an error? If so, how is it ever corrected? They say the RCF might be an extension of the Hayward Fault and that could be true when you look at EQ depths as an example. I would have thought the quakes would have been much deeper...Petra 1969/10/02 04:56:45.33 38.4963 -122.6638 0.07 5.27 Md 39 104 52 0.20 NC -1003132 1969/10/02 05:14:22.65 38.4473 -122.6690 4.34 3.40 Md 18 136 47 0.16 NC -1003133 1969/10/02 06:19:56.33 38.4515 -122.7522 4.16 5.22 Md 52 170 58 0.20 NC -1003135 1969/10/02 07:10:11.34 38.5018 -122.7755 22.58 3.93 Md 16 318 51 0.21 NC -1003136 1969/10/02 12:27:04.65 38.5085 -122.6872 0.02 4.52 Md 52 106 53 0.23 NC -1003137 1969/10/06 14:28:06.96 38.4753 -122.6987 4.50 4.28 Md
