Can't say whether or not that Oregon was what you were picking up. It probably was. But then I don't know about the timings of your symtoms like start and finish. I think the Indonesia quake had an impact on you as well.

Yes, being in a new area does present problems and personally I think you should be predicting from the area your in now instead of from the area you came from. Thats quite a distance between the two locations and if your prediction style of using rings with increasing magnitudes holds true, then what ever is causing your symptoms would have to be that much larger from your old area before you could sense it in your new area.
