Re: Use or non-use of scientific method |
Dennis, I'm not watching Mammoth now, I'm watching Lake Pillsbury. It has exactly the same harmonic tremors that Mammoth had last year. Its interesting because at 20 miles away they are recording very well and at I think 40 miles away at Hamilton Air Force Base, they still show up, but in a lesser degree. Which of course means that the tremors are passing right under my house. I sent a request to the AVO in Vancouver, WA to confirm that they are indeed harmonic tremors, but so far no response. I'm not very concerned about it, even if they said no, because that's the same line they had last year for Mammoth. If you've seen it once and know what it is, then no one has to tell you what you already know. For now my ears are singing for both North and South events. Yesterday I got a huge screamer for the south that I think belongs to Belmont. This evening it was a lesser one for south and a screamer for the North. But all of them were clear in sound which means they are on major fault lines. I'm not going to make any forecasts on these until I can get a fix on where they are coming from. I'll attach the link for Lake Pillsbury and you can see what I'm talking about. Select a date and click on KPC and have a look and then go south to NHF and look at that one.
