Nov 2, Thank you Todd (I agree...no problem with Petra and I on this one). I suppose we could end this thread here. Some of us (and this may include John V.?) post here mostly for fun, so sometimes I will post stuff using a certain eastern tone...during the day I am pretty isolated in my home office...I was thinking the other day that when my daughter goes off to college I will be that much more isolated and it may be time to move to near my position in California, or to find another job. I'm hearing that oil companies have more money than God and are hiring again...although maybe not elderly people such as myself (anything past 30 may be elderly to them). I don't think they really need people...they just can't spend their money fast enough and are trying to head off an excess profits tax.

I'll make sure that our paper on the structure under Palos Verdes is submitted before I do anything else...although I also have to write a paper on the first west Antarctic ice sheets...
