Hi Petra,
That is a vivid and interesting dream, and I pity you. If you are like me (and I think my 9/23/05 Bay Area map dream is one of the two you reference?) you will be unable to get this map dream out of your mind, and you will find yourself waiting. Just waiting.

I am still trying to laugh off my dream, with no success. Afraid now I'll be watching "your map" too...
