I actually have a large sealable plastic container ($6 at target) that I have briquets,lighter fluid, bottled propane, small old camping burner, small portable hibachi grill (I got at a yard sale) and an electric lighter and I keep this kit outside in a corner of my backyard for emergencies! (I have the indoor battery/first aid kit too.) I have plants on top, so it looks ok.

I think one needs to have an indoor emergency kit and an outdoor emergency kit.
