I see that the MASE project is using the Guralp CMG-3T weak motion seismometers to study the subduction process under Mexico. Am I correct in assuming that they are looking for slower, long term lithospheric/mantle interaction? The use of weak motion, high sensitivity sensors is my question. Maybe something along the lines of Cholame chatter?
