Just curious why you are asking about events being thrust or strike slip?

Were you asking because there is a relation to how the quake is felt? Ie. thrust quakes feel a certain way as compared to strike slip?

Sure hope I did not bore Chris Suburb or anyone with this question. I just like to know why, why, why, a kind of curiosity plagues me endlessly. You know, getting to the bottom of things even if you wind up getting hurt and crushed kind of thing.
