I think you should. Then you can be there for the holidays. The first snow normally hits around Thanksgiving.

I love weird weather. The first day I arrived there was a whiz banger thunderstorm in progress with lots of lightning and hail. I knew I was in the right place.

And on Thanksgiving 1983 we had an 80mph windstorm. Power was out for over a million and everything known to man flew in the air. It was wonderful. Neighbors met neighbors and they shared cooking turkey on each others hot stoves or ovens if they were available. Every billboard as far as you could see was wiped clean.

LA is boring in the winter. Head up north and maybe you could fly around a snow covered volcano. That would be cool.
