Monday morning |
Both yesterday and thru this morning, secondaries were quite active. I've even been getting activity on my primary. The way things are going, we can continue to expect M3.5+ activity in and around Southern California. The largest signal that I received on my primary was for an M4.2 +/- .5 which came in for several hours yesterday. A similar signal came in Saturday as well but with a slightly different pattern which I believe resulted in the Big Bear M3.8 at that time. For now, the potential is still there for much larger activity, but so far I'm not getting any supporting information that would indicate an M6+ type of event. Only a lot of similarities to the sequence of events leading up to the Hector quake. Hopefully, these similarities are just that and nothing more.
