Granted, the San Jacinto and San Andreas faults can pop a 7 or 8, and that annoying left-lateral fault near Anza keeps rattling my windows occasionally, but there has been a BIG push in awareness programs here since the quakes this summer and the aftermath of hurricanes back east.
