So far I have a Mercator outline map of the world from -30 to 50 degrees latitude and 0 to 180 degrees longitude (Shan's prediction area). Quakes plot as circles whose size depends on magnitude and in a time sequence which is proportional to the time between consecutive quakes.

When (if) I get Shan's predictions I'll plot them too, if possible.

The whole thing gets rapidly cluttered.

Suggestions, anyone?
