Hi All,

I don't know how many of you locals caught this one, but it's only 2 kms from Cal Stadium and not very deep either, which is typical of quakes on the Hayward Fault. This is the second quake in the area in the last week. The other one was not far away near Highway 13 in Oakland. Maybe 1-2 miles away. For anyone who doesn't know or can't remember, a 4.0 quake in this area causes windows in homes to break and chimneys to crack and fall off. I think the last time that happened it was in December of 1998.....Petra
