I sent Shan an e-mail after checking his web site to see if he left any messages, which he hasn't. Hopefully, if its just a matter of the power being out he will reply.

This is just about as bad as it gets I suppose. It must be horribly unnerving to be constantly shaken with aftershocks which are no doubt bringing that which was unstable down.

I was reading a story about a man who lived on the 10th floor of a building and he said he was thrown out of bed and that the ceiling fan turned sideways and cut a hole into the ceiling. I've never thought about that before. Not a good thought especially if its on at the time of an earthquake.
