Glen,

While you may not see any correlation with the 103° rings, have you been keeping track of the antipodal activity? Equador is at the antipodal to Indonesia and there's been a number of quakes there lately.

There were two other events in which this phenomena occurred and those preceeded Tarapaca, Chile and the most recent 7.5 in Argentina. (north of Tarapaca). It's a regular tennis of earthquake events down there in the south pacific.

And one 103° ring quake which will always be close in mind for me was following the Taiwan 1999 event which occurred in the evening our time brought a quake very close to my area. It was a rare 4.2 event, to which I had the good fortune to predict prior to the FFA's occurrence. But it was very timely. That quake brought me a lot of opportunties. It was the only quake I know of where only one person in an area suffered sufficient damage to use their quake insurance and the occupant of the home told me that the night before the quake she was hearing with both ears constant ear ringing and she said she felt as though she were in the middle of an electric field in her home.

She had a gazillion nic nacks in her home and all one had to do was to follow the trial from one end of the house to the other which left an ideal path in seeing exactly how everything moved during the earthquake.

Though I would wish her to have the same results again; I'd love to see a repeat performance just so it could be as well documented as the first one.

I'm getting tired as I was up at 5am today, so being precise is not my strong suit right now.
