I was asking about the mechanism of this inevitable quake, which Chris had to finally answer. I don't think that is a pitiful response or a question to be danced around as if I haven't a clue. ("You surprise me, Cathryn.") I've been an active member of this board since 1999, and don't appreciated being derided because my Ph.D. is in a subject other than geoscience or seismology.
