I think almost everything we had on our wish list is now coming to pass. Surely it did not occur the way I expected, but I am delighted none the less. Between the specials on TV, print in the news medium and now congressional leaders talking about our potential problems I have to wonder; is our work done?

I hope some folks who think only children need to learn earthquake safety may change their agendas and realize the parents better know what to do as well if they intend for them to take care of those kids.

I see only one really big broken link in the chain and that's commercial stores. I haven't seen anything at all which convinces me they know what to do with the public when they are shopping in their stores, so maybe we need to change our focus and work on them as a last effort.
