Ahhh - just a little pattern I've been following -
00/0405 01:50:55.2 28.693N 112.977W 10G 4.4 GULF OF CALIFORNIA
00/04/08 18:00:59 28.40N 112.75W 10.0 4.1Mb B GULF OF CALIFORNIA
00/04/08 18:18:06 34.80N 116.28W 0.3 3.1Ml SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
00/04/09 06:52:04 34.13N 117.47W 0.7 3.6Ml SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
00/04/09 10:48:09 32.70N 115.39W 0.8 4.1Ml CALIF.-BAJA CALIF. BDR

It seems that there has been a bit more activity around the Mexican Border since Hector hit. It may have 'greased the wheels' so to speak in that area - its been over 300 years since the southern san andreas has moved. The last breaks down there have been:
1680 +- 40 years
1350 +- 20 years and
1100 +- 65 years.

so its been 320 years now... and counting... It moved something like 19mm on the Imperial fault during the Hector quake.
