The Disaster

Everyone....

I had a thought today that might be appropriate. Has it occurred to anyone else that the director of FEMA has no experience to draw upon to figure out what to do? He's not a military logistics person, so maybe this was way out of his realm? So accepting that it wasn't the first order of business would have been to call the president and tell him, "George, I need the military." Hell, call Colin Powell. I've never heard of the military not knowing how to get something someplace. But there was that time when all of the helicopters went down in Iran. We'll forget about that. It works most of the time.

And as for the looters, they should have just asked for some women volunteers, given them a gun, a steak with a salad, some xanex and within 12 hours those problems would have been fixed.

When all of this settles down I'll tell you about the time I went to the Fish Farm in North Carolina for dinner. It's a catfish story just waiting to be told.
