Chris,

I'm glad to hear you are out doing what you love the most and having the benefit of a star studded night as well. We've been in a perpetual cycle of foggy nights and mornings with afternoon highs near 80. AM's feel like winter and PM's like summer. I never know what to wear anymore.

Ok, I'll look up the unit conversion tomorrow for the inches. You know we are in America so I don't know why everyone doesn't use inches and fractions thereof. I can't imagine measuring earthquake faults to be so precise as to need another unit of measure. You could classify them as small, medium, large and the big kahuna and that should be good enough. Afterall, it's taken years for everyone to know that home mortgages and earthquake probabilites have nothing to do with each other.

Oh, I'm not attending the AGU this fall, so chances are you can finally experience and EQ in SF if you attend. Parkfield should have adopted me as their lucky charm and everyone would have still been waiting.

Have a wonderful cruise and keep us updated on all of the exciting details.

Petra
