Earthquakes Along The Rodgers Creek Fault

Hi All. Did a polygon search of the quakes along the Rodgers Creek fault and found an area about 20 miles long that is just about void of any quakes with the exception of 4 or 5 microquakes. The area is located between 38.193N/122.347W and 38.319N/122.563W. The search covered an area about 3 miles on either side of the fault on average.

The majority of the quakes appear to be north of this area, but there is a fairly good number of quakes to the south in an around the area of San Pablo Bay. Don’t know if this means the area is locked up tight, or it is so loose that the fault is moving with no resistance. However everything I have read and the seismologists I have talked to say there is no creep in the area. Does that mean the next major quake could occur in this area? Take Care…Don in creepy town
