This was a rocker. This was a bad time of day also. I thought international law stated that all quakes over 7.0 had to occur between 2am - 6am. lol

I didn't realize how active this part of Japan was. I created some EQ maps that you can see on my website. Within 200 miles of this quake, there have been 37 quakes that have registered 5.0 or higher. Most have been scattered around in different areas.

There has only been one aftershock zone in this area from a 6.6 which struck the west side back in October of 2004.
