I seriously doubt that it was anyone maliciously attacking YOU. You just got a trojan or a virus or some such... it disabled the firewall and had fun...

Most likely some teenager in some foreign country... believe me, I'm in the computer business and see this happen all the time... we clean up the messes.. You are welcome to bring the CPU down here and we'll fix it for free for you...
