Hi Byron. Thanks a bunch. No way. Never to much info. Those are the years plus a few more that I was deer hunting in the Kaiser Wilderness area. We had our camp at Sample Meadows.

A couple of times when I was there we had some of the most wonderful thunderstorms I had ever been in. Lightning was striking everywhere. Rain as well as hail would come down in buckets. Even though we were in a tent we stayed dry as a bone. I had a twenty square foot plastic tarp over the top of it. The only thing that ever chased us out of the area was a snowstorm. I didn’t have four-wheel drive and no chains and the way the snow was coming down we weren’t sure we would make it out of there if we waited to long to leave.
