Hi All,

I'm sure most of you are aware there was a 7.0 - 7.3 quake 85 miles west of one of the Nicobar Islands at around 9:12PM their time today.

At first CNN reported there was a tsunami warning issued and a few minutes ago said the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that the quake was to small to generate a tsunami. That is not true according to the alert on their web site. It said they did not have information about the area specifically, but said the quake was large enough to create a tsunami.

One day, they need to have a supply of links or someone to discuss this with...whatever arrives first....Petra
