Hello Dr. Chouliaras,

I got a puppy last week. She is 9 weeks old now and I plan on observing her to see if she hears the same sounds when I do, when I hear my ear tones. I have never had an animal to observe, so this should be an interesting experiment.

I want to see if she turns her head or barks or has any other physical way of showing me she hears something. Then also to know if she hears something I don't hear.

Her name is Sugar and she is a mix of four large dog varieties, like german shepherd, australian something, a little boxer and one other. In time, she will be very large. I got her for a guard dog and she is good. She hears sounds and barks. She is a true joy and sleeps on my bed at night and cuddles up with me. Today though very tiny, as cute as baby animals come, one day may be another in the list of experiments that works.
